  69. This package contains My Life, by JRE Enterprises. This document
  70. contains only a brief description of the package and its features, along
  71. with instructions for its installation.  After unzipping My Life, view
  72. INSTALL.WRI for additional installation instructions.

  74. My Life is a personal diary, scrapbook, and word processor.  The
  75. scrapbook can be used to store and play movies and sounds.  Pictures can
  76. be stored and viewed, too.  Multiple My Life databases can be created,
  77. one for each member of the family.  Each database can be password
  78. protected.  A full-functioning word processor is included for writing
  79. letters.  Requires Windows 3.1+ or Windows 95.

  81. My Life is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes all
  82. features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may use it
  83. for up to 30 days, without charge.  If you like the program, and wish to
  84. continue its use after this evaluation period, you are required to pay
  85. for the program (see REGISTER.WRI for more details).  Any fee you may
  86. have paid to others (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this
  87. evaluation version was a fee for their copying and distribution
  88. services, rather than a payment for continued use of the program.

  192.  4+ meg memory (8 meg recommended)
  193.  4+ meg hard drive space
  194.  386-33 processor or better recommended

  197. Users of My Diary V2.0 or earlier:
  198.  1.  My Life V2.1+ changes the database structure used by My Diary V2.0
  199.  and earlier.  My Life V2.1+ will automatically modify any existing My
  200.  Diary V2.0 or earlier database to the new structure.  We recommend that
  201.  you install My Life V2.1+ into a different directory and copy the
  202.  following files from your My Diary V2.0 or earlier directory to the My
  203.  Life V2.1+ directory: *.LDB, *.MDB, and *.INI files.  After you have
  204.  verified that the databases where converted correctly, you can delete
  205.  the My Diary V2.0 or earlier directory.
  206.  2.  My Life now supports the importing of BMP, GIF, PCX, and TGA
  207.  picture formats into the picture scrapbook.  Unfortunately, any DIB,
  208.  ICO, or WMF file stored with My Diary will not be displayed with My
  209.  Life.  BMP files are unaffected.

  211. To install My Life, run SETUP.EXE.
  212.  If you are using a windows shell program other than Program Manager or
  213.  Norton Desktop, you may have to manually create groups and group items
  214.  for My Life.  If you have a previous release of My Life installed, we
  215.  recommend installing into a new directory.  We recommend creating a
  216.  group MY LIFE.  In group MY LIFE, create four items:
